Is There Any Injury?
Jonathan invested a few minutes in carefully examining the critter to determine whether it had had any injuries of any sort. The only concern was that the monkey was presumably somewhat frightened by being on its alone. But might it have been a monkey? Jonathan’s uncertainty grew the more he considered the matter. But it wasn’t the only strange thing about this place.

It’s A Little Strange
Jonathan found the little moss bed that was supposed to have been holding the monkey to be unusual and bizarre-looking. It seemed quite unlikely that he would discover anything like this in the wild. Is it possible that some animal used it as a nest when it was built? Nevertheless, an animal would produce more waste. This resulted in one conclusion that was quite perplexing and probably very frightening.
