Money, Money, Money!
Sam placed the stack of bills to one side and eagerly began unwrapping another. The next parcel also contained a thick wad of dollar notes, as did the next, and so on. While Sam was in a paper shredding frenzy, Mary picked up one of the opened parcels that Sam had tossed aside and looked at the notes within closely. These were old notes, she realized. Just how long ago had they been “deposited”? Someone was missing a lot of money…

When Sam finally opened the last parcel in the suitcase, he added the final stack of bills to the large pile that had been mounting on their dining room table. He sat down heavily in a nearby chair, wide-eyed. He and Mary looked at one another in disbelief. They had never come across anything like this in their long lives. When Sam was later interviewed about this sensational find, he could not stop expressing his shock.
