The Motherload
The couple was at a loss for words at first, despite having so many questions. They knew that the only answers that they would find lay beneath the brown paper. Sam tore the paper off one packet, and then another. Who had this suitcase belonged to, he wondered as he stripped back the outer layers. Had this been a master thief’s big take? Sam and Mary agreed that they would do their best to return the contents of the suitcase to its original owner.

The couple was making great progress removing the brown paper. They had been doing it very carefully at first, afraid that something dangerous might have been inside the packets. When it seemed like the contents were mostly harmless, Sam lifted one of the parcels up and took the rest of the brown paper off. It didn’t take long for him to realize that he was holding a thick wad of 20-dollar notes. He was astonished.
