Mysterious Suitcase
The drywall might have been obscuring some childish and innocent graffiti, but what loomed above that preschool art was the complete opposite. These sweet (if not creepy) memories had been scribbled by children who must have used the space as a playroom. The container that Sam heaved out of the ceiling in this fascinating basement had a different energy altogether. Despite his curiosity, Sam could not help but feel a sense of foreboding about what he soon realized was a suitcase.

To make the situation all the more curious, the suitcase that was now in Sam’s hands was loaded with something very heavy. Someone did not want to find its contents again, and had hidden it in a place they thought no one would ever discover. The suitcase had a grey-green color and Sam concluded that it had been hidden in this basement for many years. It certainly had enough dust coating it to make it seem ancient.
