Jonathan was very proficient in the art of assisting animals. He recognized common issues and had some contacts with local veterinarians. This also meant that he felt quite secure in his abilities to recognize animals, but he knew that this particular occasion would be different. The fact that the little animal was all by itself was the most pressing concern, but things were about to worsen.

A Defiant Shout For Help
During one of Jonathan’s strolls in the forests located on the outskirts of the city, he was certain that he heard the distress call of an animal. He stopped in the middle of the forest and waited to hear it again. It was just a little period until he heard the wail once again. The sound was difficult to make out, but it was definitely there. Most notably, it sounded like a young dog, which begs the question: how did a dog get so far away?
