Jonathan gave the larger dog a kind look and, while still holding the box that contained the monkey, he began to relax his grasp on it just a little bit. This let the labrador get closer to the package. Due to the labrador’s unruffled demeanor, Jonathan was under the impression that the larger dog would not harm him. When Jonathan pulled back the covers to reveal the monkey to the dog, he was taken aback to realize that the situation had worsened further.
