Inspiration
Steven soon thought of a community page on Facebook that he was well acquainted with. He knew that many qualified or simply passionate people on the page might be able to provide answers. Steven uploaded pictures of the rock and typed out his story on the post. Within minutes, a wave of excited replies lit up Steven’s screen. He could not believe how much traction his post was getting in such a short amount of time!

Of course, no one on the social media platform could say for sure what Steven and Viola had in their possession, but there were certainly plenty of colorful suggestions and theories. They ranged from more believable possibilities, that the rock was actually a meteor that had somehow washed up on the beach, to the expulsion from an underwater volcano. Some commenters came with bizarre and ridiculous conspiracy theories involving aliens or the government. This is Facebook, after all.
