Here’s a name you might not think twice about. However, given a few moments, you will observe the numerous layers that came together to become Friendship. First and foremost, the term “ship” appears in the name. That right there is a good beginning point. But let us go deeper: does the name imply that the ship itself is a friend? Is the name intended to express the owner’s passion for one of life’s basic pleasures? Perhaps the owner enjoys spending time with his pals. We have a feeling all of these names will be puns. I suppose you could call it… A sinking feeling. Water U Lookin’ At is an intriguing name, to say the least. It contains a drop of ocean humor – if you can call it that. It also appears to be needlessly confrontational, and if the Coast Guard comes knocking, hopefully tempers will not flare, especially since bullhorns make it difficult to distinguish between someone screaming a ship’s name and someone simply shouting loudly. No, we won’t apologize for the sinking feeling pun. It’s preferable that you get used to it immediately.
