Rick was now in the position he had to be dealing with and trying to quench a fiery battle. He was in the midst of two screaming women, and here he was trying to be in a spot where a UN Diplomat had to be. After hearing the side of Tracey and her discomfort with everything that was going on, Rick knew he had to make the bold step and confront his mother once and for all. Rick found himself in a tight spot with his unhappy fiance and his overbearing mother on the other end. He was now at his wit’s end, and he was exhausted.

Rick saw that he was in a situation where he was the one responsible for ensuring his new and growing family was happy no matter what. With his father not being around, Rick knew he was the “man” in the family and had to be the one to take charge of everything that came up. Finally, he stepped up to his mother and set her straight, and set some boundaries so there could be peace. Tracey was pleased with the move he made and how brave he was to make such a decision.
