One Vermont family found that their dad had stashed a legitimate Norman Rockwell piece within a false wall. He had done this to prohibit his ex-wife from getting her hands on it when they divorced. Once the family found it, they took it to an auction house, where they sold it for $15.4 million.

A renovation made up of a sister and brother in Nova Scotia found a collection of love letters within their home. They took their time reading through each one and soon realized that it was a romantic correspondence between a First World War soldier and his lover. The workers were touched by the exchange and decided that the letters belonged with the soldier’s family. It took some time, but the renovators eventually returned the notes to the grandchildren of the authors.
