Princess Charlotte was being carried by Kate in the early stages of her second pregnancy when this 2014 photo was taken. I applaud her for being able to put on a brave face and perform her duties.

Anyone can experience this; royalty is not exempt. Everybody has experienced those fall days when the sea squalls batter the coast, leaving you looking like this if you leave your house (or palace) unprepared. It is not very demanding. This could have been avoided with a straightforward ribbon or headband to tie the hair up. Kate, you should have known by now.
